Leader: Anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential.
"Leadership is not about titles or the corner office. It’s about the willingness to step up, put yourself out there, and lean into courage. The world is desperate for braver leaders. It’s time for all of us to step up." - Brene Brown
At La Suprema Works, we're big fans of Brene Brown. Our team regularly listens to her podcasts, have read many of her books, and love her Netflix special. That's why we're so excited that Dr. Janelle Briggs, CEO and Co-Founder of Stackhouse is here to facilitate a frank discussion of embracing a new leadership role during a pandemic. Janelle will lead us through the discussion guide of Brene Brown's most recent work: Dare to Lead.
Before joining, we recomend visitng the Dare to Lead website to order the book, take the self-assessment, listen to the podcast, or just generally familarize yourself with the concepts before joining us on December 2nd. Not only will Janelle lead us through the dicsussion, but she will share how this book has impacted her leadership style, and share concrete examples from her work at Stackhouse. If you haven't RSVP'd yet, what are you waiting for?! This conversation is sure to make all of us stronger leaders.
