How did you get started with what you’re doing now?

I was contemplating the idea for a long time but November 2020 is when I decided to actually take action towards this goal. The idea behind my company is to sell anything that could be considered comfortable or able to bring comfort to someone. The purpose is to sell comfort in order to raise funds to give back to the community and different charities and nonprofit organizations by donating a percentage of my yearly profits to one company each year my company is in operation.

What is a typical day like for you?

A typical day for my business consists of a lot of planning and problem-solving. This is my first time running a business and I am also doing it alone. I often spend my time researching different marketing strategies or so. In the office, I take time to look through every product and do some quality control, private label them, and tag them, while keeping track of my inventory.

What is your best productivity hack?

My top productivity hack is to plan your day, make a list of what your minimum goal of tasks completed would be, and try to meet it or surpass it.

Favorite part of La Suprema?

I really like the environment and for once in my life, I can genuinely say I like the management staff. They are so helpful, flexible, and empathetic. They really know how to work with small business owners and their professionalism is off the charts.

Best Hidden Gem in Tucson?

I have only been living in Tucson for about a year and a couple of months, so I don't really know any gems. If someone could enlighten me, that would be great!

Coffee or Tea?

Tough choice, but I would have to choose tea.

What inspires you?

My parents inspire me, they are living proof that working hard and determination is what drives people through life. They immigrated here from Mexico, and they worked hard to provide everything my siblings and I could ever need and more. We went from living in my uncle's guest house to living in a house. They implemented great values and taught us that our work ethic was very important, but more importantly, they taught us that family will always be there to support us and that regardless of our individual mistakes we will always be worthy of respect and love. I will be eternally grateful for all of their sacrifices and I do believe I won the lottery with them.
