One of Tucson’s most famous attractions is the gem show that occurs every spring. Vendors from all over the globe visit Tucson for the largest and most prestigious gem and mineral show in the world. The Tucson Gem and Mineral Society have been hosting the show since 1955 ( back then they held it in a school cafeteria!). The show has grown immensely since then and brings people from all over to the heart of The Old Pueblo. Although the full show is not happening this year, there are still ways to enjoy the experience. There are smaller, pop up options happening this year (2021) around Tucson.
Gem Show in Old Pueblo Paradise
As fans of the show and the spark it brings to Tucson, La Suprema Works & Events is happy to host any pop-up gem shows in our beautiful courtyard. With over 2,000 square feet of space, this could be the perfect option for a smaller, socially distant event. We have two bathrooms located inside, as well as coffee, tea, and water for venders.
This is the view from our courtyard. Most of the furniture is movable and can be rearranged. The lights and umbrellas are available to use as well.
Our patio is the perfect outdoor space for vendors for any gem, jewelry or trunk show this spring. If there's anything that 2020 has taught us, it's going with the flow and making the best out the situation with new traditions.
